UF Visit Day DPT

I was wondering if any current UF DPT student had any insight to the Visit Day that UF is having this year. I understand it is not an interview and not evaluative, but it is quite limited and invite only. It is a full itinerary, like an interview, and is ending with a reception with food at a local restaurant. I was also offered a considerable travel voucher to attend. I do understand it is not an interview, but what would be the reason for UF to spend the money and host the event if they are not at least seriously considering who they invited.

Hi dptwannabee1! I googled this question, and I saw you made a post about it and that you went last year! Do you have any insight into UF visit day? I'm going this Friday, and I'm super excited!
