I submitted my ERAS application recently and sent the Personal Statement to most of the programs I will be applying to. And nearly all of them have downloaded the Personal Statement.

When editing and such I checked at least 50 times for no formatting issues in the Personal Statement. I just looked at the version of the Personal Statement (for both VIEW and PRINT), and some big ass old box popped up between 2 of the words. F***.

How did this happen? And could this actually affect things?

Probably seems like a silly thread. Oh well.

ERAS does that with the personal statement---especially with certain characters. As long as there weren't any grammar/spelling mistakes between those boxes, no worries.
