So I'm sitting here with my friend who managed to lose that nice little card to which you affix your photo for the mcat in the morning. What are the chances they'd let him in without it?

crap. is there a number you can call to alert the MCAT people of what happened, so that they might be able to notify the test sight your friend is taking the test at and make the proper arrangements to still take the test?

and by the way....man cant believe you lost it haha. i may not have a birth certificate, but i made sure i had my mcat admissions ticket haha.

They won't budge on this rule. A friend of mine lost her ticket and called the MCAT office the day before the test last year, and they said "no dice", but then she found it and all was good.

they got plenty of those photo/fingerprint cards at the test locations...don't worry about it. just make sure you didn't lose the admission ticket that has your personal info on it. The phot/fp card is no big deal though.

Very minimal to zero. I mean when I wrote it they said if you don't have the admission ticket they won't let you sit for it. But if he gets a symphatetic preceptor he might slide. Very unlikely, but less likely things have happened. At this point he has nothing to lose by trying. But just tell him he might not get to write. Hope it works out.

your ticket is different from the card, right?
if i remember, the card was something that you just have to fill in and stuff - there's no specific information or numbers on there that is tailored to you.

like derf said, it's ok to go with out the card. i think my test site had extras. 🙂

your friend will find it, human memory works funny and eventually it'll come to your friend randomly, espeically if its something important like that--im just being optimistic.

Just to let you know, i took the MCAT without my admission ticket. i did have the photo card, though, and they did have extra photo cards there. Good luck!

i think it depends on the site. i know some who toook it without the ticket but they def always have extra photo cards there....

Yep, they had extra photo cards. Geez I was ready to kill the kid though. He wouldn't have had the photo either if I hadn't mentioned the id card that night.
