UHS-COM acceptance/waitlist

Anyone going to UHS-COM this fall? What are the reasons you would choose this school compared to other schools? Trying to decide myself and was just wondering what other views are.

Also, any views on the waitlist status? I applied really late and got in on the last interview date possible for the fall of this year, but although I was accepted, there aren't enough seats for all accepted in the fall. They said I could sit and wait to see if anyone drops out or go ahead and defer and get in for sure in the fall of 2005. I'm debating on whether I want to wait on med school or start already. That being said...anyone withdrawing from the school or know of the fluidity of the waitlist at UHS?

One of our classmates was called during his honeymoon (during orientation week) to tell him he had a seat. Don't stress about it. You may get to come this year or you may have to wait. Either way, you have been accepted to medical school and you can relax a bit

I am attending UHS-COM next year. The reasons I chose to go there is the way the classes are set up and when I was there for the interview I spent some more time in the Kansas City area and I really liked the location. I also got a very good vibe from the students that go there.

Another thing congratulations.
