When I selected University of Illinois, at Chicago (UIC), i didnt realize that the acceptance rate for out-of-state applicants is near 0%. Also, they require out-of-state applicants to have a minimum gpa of 3.5 and 21 DATs. (allt his info is on their website FAQ). Its funny they send me a letter saying i should pay the application fee. WHY SHOULD I PAY IF THEY WILL TRASH MY APPLICATION SINCE I DONT HAVE THE 3.5! Come on, dont try to ripp off college students any more than you have to.

Am i wrong? If so, advice me to send in the $40. hahaha

hmm i guess you should withdraw your application and i should do the same thing... 😕

do not send the money....they will look over your application whether you pay the money or not. two of my interview invatation was sent the same time they asked for the money. especially if you say your stats are not close to their out-of-state minimum requirements.
