I have heard A LOT of good things about UIC!!

Why are people so happy???

Is it the call schedule, faculty or residents.

How is MRH???

yes you are rite..you will probably find the happiest residents at UIC
this is because

1)the faculty loves to teach
2) very non-malignant environment
3) work hrs are good
4)good family lifestyle can be had here
5) didactics are very good
6) chicago location is great and alot of things to do

Why did the program have problems filling just 3-4 years ago?

What has changed?

American grads' interest in anesthesiology and the stories of job availability. People are very happy at UIC.

Plenty of places went unfilled 2-3 years ago.
