All dental schools will prepare you to be a general dentist. If that's what you want to be, and that is the school you have your eye on....well then you're set.

Now if your asking what schools are more intune to producing a general practice dentists rather than producing students that go on to specialize, thats another question. And if that is what you are wondering then I would say check the schools websites. Most are pretty straightforward on where their students end up. But like claydds said any school will produce a competent dentist. UIC is no different.
