Hi everyone. Need help deciding. Thanks 🙂

UIC

Pros
- In-state tuition
- From and familiar with area
- Won't have to move

Cons
-Not as modern
-Not as "prestigious", ranked 23-25

Michigan

Pros
- Ranked #1 in the country
- Great facility/new equipment
-College town area

Cons
-More expensive
- Have to move out of state

What rankings are you referring to? How much is the difference in tuition + cost of living for 4 years?

I see little reason not to go with UIC.

UM #1 ranking means nothing...
as does UIC's ranking

I see little reason not to go with UIC.

Just overall school rankings. I want to say the difference is about 20k a year. I wasn’t completely sure if rankings truly meant anything and would be worth the extra cost, but I see they don’t which helps my decision.
