UIC Location Assignments?

Just curious how long it took people after acceptance from UIC to get informed of location assignments. Do you they let you know via snail mail or email? Anyone who turned in their preferences early this month hear anything back yet? I'm getting antsy. Thanks!

Not like this is going to help ease your anxiety, but I submitted my location card in late December and haven't heard anything yet. I even looked up my checking account and it looks like my check hasn't even been cleared either, so I'm not sure......

I think we hear back via snail mail since our interview invites and acceptances were all done by snail mail.

Are they going to cash our deposits? I also submitted a preference card the day after my acceptance (12/27) and have not yet heard back. I would assume snail mail as well.

it takes them forever to cash the deposits!! (Took about 6 weeks for me)

But, the good news is that they make site assignments before cashing in...

Check the status page and it will tell you if they received your preference card and deposit. If they did, your site assignment can't be too far behind.

BTW, it took about 2 weeks after acceptance for them to send me my assignment but I was accepted early on.
