Does anyone know what kind of stats UIC may be looking for this year? I heard a nasty rumor that last year, they only gave those who had PCAT of 90% or higher an interview! Hope that is not true!

UIC

Members of the entering class were selected from an
applicant pool of 1,516 potential students. The class’s
average PCAT composite score ranks in the 92
percentile. Its average pre-pharmacy grade point
average is 3.37/4.00. More than half of the entering
class members have earned previous degrees.

I talked to UIC representive at health school fair. He said that they look at everything required for admission (PharmCAS, rec letters, GPA, PCAT, extracurricular activites...etc) before inviting applicants to interview! so...having a PCAt composite score higher than 92 percentile doesn't guarantee an interview. One thing important about UIC is that you have finish all the pre-pharm prerequisites in Spring 2005...
Good luck! (I need a lot of luck, too!)

Thanks to both! I got a surge of paranoia today. For those who have applied to UIC, we were not required to write an essay or personal statement right? I went mad looking at their instructions because it was too good to be true that they only required the check for $40 and a pre-req summary sheet to be filled out.

Yep! just the check and a pre-req form. The reason why UIC has their supplemental deadline till Feb 1st is b/c they want applicants to include their fall 2004 grades!
