I wasn't sure whether to post this in pre-pharmacy or what, but I thought this would be of interest.

I'm at a different school, but a friend of mine just got accepted to the UIC satellite campus with only prereqs and a PCAT in the 30's. This seems unbelievable to me, but the flood of programs in Chicago must really be watering down the quality of applicants. They may also be having a tough time getting people to go to the Rockford campus. I'm not trying to dog on anyone with lower PCATs, but I just thought you'd need a lot higher to get in at UIC.

From my understanding, the Rockford campus is really intensive on the rural practice. There doesn't seem to be an overwhelming amount of people wanting to practice in rural areas. Hence the incentives, even here in MN for tuition forgiveness, etc.
