I've got a few questions about the University of Illinois at Chicago secondary, I'm wondering if I've read some of them wrong or if I'm just really not thinking. Please let me know about any or all of the questions:

1. It asks for "Advanced Level Biology" courses, but in the directions it says that only two semesters are mandatory. As I only have that mandatory year and don't have said "advanced" courses, do I leave it blank or can I just put my biochem course since they want those other courses? What did you guys do?

2. It asks the following: "If you have received special recognition for your accomplishments, such as advanced degrees, publications, awards, etc., briefly describe in the space provided below. Provide supporting documentation if possible." So would this include a normal honors society or latin honors upon graduation from undergrad? I don't really have any publications or degrees aside from my BA, so do I just leave this blank?

3. Finally, "Describe any advantages and/or complications you encountered during your progression in education. Please include any noteworthy achievements and/or obstacles. Please use the back of this sheet for additional explanation. (Examples: Acute or chronic illnesses, employment, financial difficulty, managerial role in household, etc.)"
I haven't experienced any of the complications it gives as examples, and it doesn't mention any advantages that I might be able to talk about. Am I reading this wrong?

Thanks in advance!!! 👍

no one has any info? i'm planning to call the school, but if anyone has info that they're willing to share it would make things a little easier.
thanks

1. I had a situation with their biology requirement, and I called the office. The person was helpful.

2. I would include anything and everything. The worst that can happen is that they'll cross it out for you.

3. I don't think they care about advantages. Just answer the question.

1. put down your biochem stuff too
2. if you just have a college degree and no other stuff they list, then thats it.
3. advantages are easier to point out, where there is always a lot of question of what a disadvantage is, hence the reason they have some examples on there to let you know what they might be looking for.

i think i answered this question like....
advantages - my undegrad school b/c it was so challenging.
disadvantages - socio-economic stuff, family stuff...

in essay from of course.
