Hi,

I found out that UIC graduates that go into a specialty program after graduation are 30-40%. Why does this number seem so big to me when specialty programs accept only the top TOP students of the class?

I got the same number from UIC when I contacted them. I assume that their specialty data includes students with do shorter PGR/AEGD residencies, which I suppose are not true specialties. I could be wrong about that assumption, though. The number would seem awfully high, otherwise.

Schools do use GPR/AEGD in their calculations
