Any thoughts on UIC vs Tulane for PhD in community health sciences? I like both of my proposed advisors a lot, though probably a better research fit with UIC and I would have a specific research project that I would RA on (vs TA at Tulane and potentially RA position later). I have better funding at UIC, though overall cost is about the same due to my partner's career options.
Any thoughts on the better reputation or better place for career prospects? Long term I'd like to be in the southeast US, working either for a university or a foundation/think-tank type of place.
Thanks for any feedback!
