Anybody waiting for a decision from UIC? Depite the secondary addendum.....

Nope, not even a completion email. BTW...did anyone receive an interview after teh secondary addendum was sent out? IS UIC waiting for applicants to return their addendums before it sends out the next batch of interviews?

I didn't apply to UIC, so I don't have any info there, but I have to ask: PugGirl, do you have a pug? I have a little black pug (9 months) and he's the cutest & best dog in the world. 😀 Just had to find out. Anyway, good luck to you!

Not me i have not finished the addendum yet either. i was wondering if anyone knows if the addendum is for eveyone that applied, or people they are considering, or (hope not) people that they are gettting more info from because they are not that good statistically, but might still have a chance?

just finished the addendum myself although it took me about a week and a half to do it. for some reason i just didn't have the motivation to do it any quicker. that was definitely a suck-ass deal from UIC 🙁

I took the MCAT in August, and UIC sent me a secondary after they received my scores. The "addendum" that you all are talking about is a part of the revised secondary I got... However, I think that the problem with their secondary is that they say this essay part is in a section labelled as "optional," although they really do not mean that it is optional. I don't know exactly how the original secondary looked, but the essays on mine are the same as what you are calling the addendum. So I think that they just screwed up the format of the secondary, and really meant for everyone to send in those essays.

But I could be wrong.

Nope not yet.

I called to check my status yesterday hoping that they would say I had been invited for an interview and could arrange a date (my status page said that my letter went out yesterday). Anyway, they didn't say anything about an interview and told me I need to get my addendum in ASAP.

hahaha....I JUST got a little black pug and he is now 4 months old! He is insanely cute but EXTREMELY spoiled seeing as how I named myself after him. I think I'm turning into one of those "Pug People".....Anyway, Good luck to you too!!

The day I interviewed I came home to find the secondary addendum in my inbox. I wonder if they will even get around to reading it or if they will wait to make a decision. What's the use of sending out the addendum anyway?...just makes them look disorganized.
