I applied to the University of Kentucky as an early decision applicant. I still have not heard back from them, and I know that their admission decision deadline is the 25-26th of October. Can I assume that I have been rejected? For anyone who has been rejected from UK, did they send you a rejection letter in the mail, or did they send you a rejection email?

I applied to UK and got a letter about 2 weeks ago saying that my interview is on the 11th (next Thursday), which is the only ED interview date. Its possible that you could have just gotten defferred to regular admission.

bullsfan,

i've applied to early admissions too. i haven't heard anything. i'm assuming i'll get deffered, but hey it couldn't hurt to try early admissions. i do know that they have two rounds of interviews for early admissions i think. i'm not sure which round lindsey would be in.

are you from kentucky? where else are you applying?

There are two rounds of interviews on October 11th, one at 9am and one at 12. Then they have to notify those interviewed by the 25th. Then I think they start giving out regular decision interviews.

Thanks for the input. I'm actually from Illinois and go to UIC. I'm applying to UIC, Midwestern, SIU, UW-Madison, and UNC. I wish UK just told me I was deferred so I could apply to other schools via pharmcas.

I feel the same way. I wish I could go ahead and submit my pharmcas application to other schools, but i'm just stuck waiting. Was there not an instate school for you that did early admissions?
