Any thoughts on a reasonable ultrasound machine for a clinic setting? Usage would be diagnostic MSK and nerve as well as image-guided joint/nerve injections.

I feel Siemens, Isaota and Aloka are the best for musculoskeletal and deep injections as well. Do not err on the Sonosite side!

Micromaxx Sonosite has been the most-sold US equipment ever, at least in my milieu, actually I have got one in my own. Its proportionally cheaper, lighter, easier to handle, you get confident with its simple sofware rapidily but, from my point of view its precisely those features what made them suboptimal. There's no focus to be changed by you, the gains cannot be controlled independently but one has to use a single knob to modify them, the compound imaging is weak, the image can't be post-processed. In sum, useful for the beginner but if you are to rely on good resolution, clear images then buy another one.
