I was just wondering if anyone had a list or could point me in the right direction to compiling a list of all pharmacy schools with umbrella organizations.

Or perhaps since we are all about knowing what is going on in other schools... If you could just post whether you know a school has this system or not.

If any of mine are wrong just let me know!

No Umbrella:
Auburn
Buffalo
Mercer
Samford
Shenandoah
South
UF
UGA
University of Tennessee

Umbrella:
USC
University of Washington - UPPOW
Washington State University
USN

Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is an umbrella organization when it comes to pharmacy?

Thanks!

An umbrella organization is one that provides membership in more than one organization. For example when students at UW join our umbrella organization, they are joining APhA-ASP, ASHP, NCPA, and WSPA, 3 national and 1 state organization.

USC does
APSA gives you APhA, ASHP, CPhA, CSHP, IPSF

No umbrella at UF. We have to pay dues to each organization we choose to join.
