On UMDNJ's app, they ask...
Please identify your area of professional interest (i.e. Family Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, etc.)

What if you have no idea yet? I'm basically interested and open to anything so what should I put?

I picked one of the primary care option since DO schools focus more on that. I don't think they'll base your acceptance on that question alone. Who knows?

Just put a few down you have an interst in. Your application is NOT based on this question. I often wonder why they ask when they say "it doesn't matter" what you put down. That is what I was told but attending students at UMDNJ at least.

Put whatever you want to put. It makes ABSOLUTELY no difference. Trust me, I was on the ad comm for 2 years. Good Luck.
