Hi, congrats!! I'm applying there as well, but my application is not completed yet, they are still waiting for my school committee letter. Just wondering what are your stats, if you don't mind to share. I just want to know where i stand. Thanks!rchuloholla said:

dont worry at all....the interview is the most laid back thing...its also the first thing they do so you can enjoy the rest of the day....relax...the faculty and admin are very very friendly...good luck to you all and hope to see you here next year! =)

application was submitted may 24, mailed in june 30, letters of rec recieved june 30, mailed out july 10th (but i also sent it directly to the schools like mid june) and took DAT on july 1st.

I got an interview invite today =) But mine is a month later than yours, it's on Oct 20. I am so excited! Good luck with your interview and also pls share your experience. Thanks for sharing your stats =D

Flyermann -- I also have an interview there on Oct. 20, so I'll see you there! Wish I could help you with the interview info, but I live in NY so I will just be driving in that morning. I am sure there a bunch of hotels in the Newark area.

Congrats, see you on that day! By the way, do you know whether UMDNJ gives out interviews invites without a recommendation letter? I called up some other schools i applied to, and none of them have recieved my recommendation letter yet. I hope my invite wasn't an accident 😳
Flyermann - I actually dont know about the recommendation thing. Also, I wont see you that day -- I switched my interview to a different day, but good luck anyhow!

mine was very laid back as well although it was many years ago.
as long as your grades/DAT are not too bad and you are a state resident, you stand a good chance. if they already have invited you for an interview, then it is definitely a good sign.
just relax and do well that day.
