Would those of you who have a UMDNJ interview mind posting when your ADDSAS was submitted and when your file was actually completed (DAT scores and LOR's in). Thanks

Predents only tells me when the aadsas was sent, but that sometimes isn't when the app is complete at the schools cause students submit addsas first then take the DAT a month or more later.

Just because your AADSAS was mailed on say, May25th, it isn't actually considered complete until

second. apps filled out
second. fees paid
DAT scores recieved
LOR's recieved

typically, schools won't review your packet until they are "complete"

No, you just pay the fee after they send you an email telling you to pay.

I did gateway to dentistry there this past January and still have not heard anything from them...I expect an interview!!! haha 😕

adasas submitted - In May but I had to wait till August for my LOR to be sent in - my Pre Health Committee took forever!

Dat - Took on August 30th

Got an invite via snail mail ( Just got home from camping) - the letter is dated Sept 16.

Interview is in Jan - I feel that's kind of late...is it?

I wonder if they are assigning dates based on their interest level in the applicant? It would certainly boost my ego to think so, lol. My letter was also dated September 16th (although postmarked the 18th) and the date they assigned me is October 3rd. Maybe residency has something to do with the date they assign you? I sent UMDNJ my check on August 14th. AADSAS submitted June 27, printout mailed July 21, new DAT scores posted by ADA on August 28.

personally i think they do give priority to certain applicants based on the schools level of interest in them/whether they think you'll go...but when i asked this in a thread i didn't get any definitive answers lol
