I recently got the secondary from UMDNJ and on it was stamped fee-waived, I called them up to find out what it's all about and they told me they do that to students the school has an interest in. Does anyone know if that raises my chance of getting an interview or acceptence this late in the application season? how many guys out there get that? is it almost everyone?

i dunno, i know if you physically VISIT the admissions office chances are they will waive your fee. i have friends who got fee waivers sans interview still though

what does sans mean?huh

Last application cycle I also had the fee waived. I turned may secondary in the end of Jan, interviewed middle of April, and was waitlisted.

I also had my fee waived this cycle and I received an interview within two weeks (maybe three weeks) of sending in my secondary application.

I don't think it really matters what it means. Just be happy you're saving some money to apply to a great school. But I know how you feel.. I called the admissions office to make sure it was for real when I first saw it... shock was an understatement.

Good luck to you.

oh sorry. i THINK its still a word thats commonly found in english writing... correct me if im wrong though.. im originally canadian by citizenship -=X

sans is a lil more less frequently seen, but i dunno anything! anyways sorry for hijacking!
