UMDNJ-SOM Reception for Accepted Students in March

I was wondering if any accepted students going to the reception on 3/3 will be in town on that thursday. I'll be there and won't have much to do if anyone wants to grab some dinner and check out what we're getting ourselves into (i.e. Stratford). Also, can someone recommend and good (and cheap) hotel?
