Lindenwold PATCO station is kind of close to SOM. Buses run probably every hour and not too reliable in my opinion, however it is kind of a "walkable distance" to PATCO. You can take PATCO to philly.

From 30th Street take the Market Frankford Line ("the L", or "Blue Line") eastbound to 8th and Market. Will cost you either $2 or $1.30 if you get tokens for 1 way. From 8th and Market transfer to Patco. You want the train going to Lindenwold, which is the last stop eastbound. It's $2.45 1-way I believe. When you stop at Lindenwold, go out of the station and walk across the large parking lots towards the Checkers restaurant on the corner. SOM is behind the restaurant and a car dealership (which is behind the Checkers). Sorry, I don't know the name of the road. It's a short walk though, so you should be fine.

Name is Laurel Rd. The only public transportation is the Patco line and NJ transit line (Atlantic City line) that runs from Philly through Camden to Lindenwold. Its about a 3/4 mile walk from the station to the school and you have to cross a VERY busy Rt 30.

Hmm - where in Cherry Hill? If you are within walking distance to the Haddonfield or Woodcrest station, you can take Patco. Otherwise you can take an NJ Transit Bus (schedule attached) to Lindenwold high speed line and as outlined above, have to cross the busy street.
