Has anyone been rejected post-interview by NJMS? It's been over 8 weeks post-interview now and I haven't heard anything at all. What can I expect?

I had an interview in the beginning of December at NJMS and I just got a letter last week (about 6 weeks after the interview) that I was on the "alternate list." I know that the head of admissions personally calls you if you are accepted, but obviously that didn't happen to me. I heard that their class is full already, so I don't think they are offering anyone spots right now, but I could be wrong. It is frustrating being a New Jersey resident and not getting into an in-state school, but try staying optimistic. Good luck w/ everything!!! 🙂

hey chots you're from voorhees? So am I! Yea I'm confused cuz I interviewed before you and waited longer and still haven't heard anything.

Hey Camishmo- I'm rooting for you. It seems as though UMDNJ has been dishing out nothing but the bad news, so you should see the silence as a good thing. I base this guess on nothing. Anyway best of luck.

hey will, by bad news do you mean "alternate lists"? I'm just wondering if they've outright rejected anyone who interviewed in the fall. I felt my interview went well and that I made a good impression. They wouldn't reject unless something went wrong at the interview or something right?

I interviewed on Dec 8th and found out on the 4th that i was put on the alternate list. I heard the class was already filled up. Good luck to you
