Does anyone know when the deadline for the deposit for NJDS is?

Thanks - jus curious about when they'll begin sending out their second round.

I was just accepted to UMDNJ. The letter was dated January 3. The deadline for the deposit is January 24. You don't even get a full 30 days! Hopefully, you'll receive yours soon. I think that the holidays delayed their acceptances.

i was accepted dec 1 and the deposit is due jan 15...but im not going so hopefully that will help you..good luck!

When did you interview? I live in New Jersey and interviewed Dec 1st. I called them yesterday and they said I should get something next week (after the 15th). I hope that its not a rejection/waitlist. maybe they waited to send out the rejections.

despite all of the press surrounding UMDNJ, its still academically a great school. Just look at the passing rates for the boards and what not.

The university as a whole has reaffirmed its commitment to excellence in healthcare education in the ways in which it has dealt with both the cheating issues and the administration issues.

Why did I choose UMDNJ-NJDS over NYU CoD? Well, for one, its cheaper. Granted, that's not going to make a HUGE difference over 30 or so years, but thats one reason. The main reason is that NJDS has smaller class sizes, thus allowing me to know my professors better and learn better. I am a small school person, and NJDS really seems to fit me more than NYU.

NJDS has a huge patient pool as well, do to its proximity to lower-income housing.

I can't wait till August 20th!

wow, congrats, I didn't know they were accepting ppl at that point... thought they were full. you must be an exceptional applicant. do you mind sharing when you interviewed as well? doesn't have to be the exact date...

wow congrats! Could you tell us when you interviewed? I have spoken to them many times and they kept assuring me that the class is full and no1 was accepted who interviewed after Jan 10th or so since it is full and we must wait until May to see if any spots will open up.

Sorry guys..I'm a 7-year. I interviewed back in 2004, took my dats, kept my GPA up, and now i'm in 😉
