Anyone hear from Miami yet. I know Dr. Hinckley the Dean of Admissions said he would try to call, then email people who had been offerred admissions. I'm just wondering if anyone has gotten either yet?

I haven't heard yet...My interview was 9/17 and I distinctly heard him say that he would email then call then snail mail on the 15th...Perhaps he's out sick or something? Or maybe he only called the people that got in and not me 🙁 But then again everyone seems to be sick these days. In any case how long will we be waiting? ::Sigh::

i got my acceptance by email today. the email said they are conducting interviews today so they wont be able to call. i hope you all hear good news soon. if you got an early interview, you have a really good shot at acceptance. best of luck.

I'm an in state applicant and UM undergrad. Now, I just went to that status page that I didn't know existed and it congratulated me for entering in the 2004 class haha!

First off thank you for posting about it and how did you hear about it?

So as per the whole 2004 business...maybe I should move my stuff down to the med campus 😉 Or maybe they just need to correct the year...Or maybe it means nothing because I didn't get a call or email...But it did say "Congratulations Sasha"...and that's me...and there aren't too many Sasha's with the same AMCAS ID I would hope 🙂 Also, my interview was 9/17 if that helps you to know that.

I am also an in-stater, but alas no decision for me yet on the status webpage. Thanks for the tip though, now i can check it compulsively! Oh btw, I interviewed 10-4-04, when did you guys interview?

I am from NY and I had my interview on 10/4 and Dr. Hinkley said he would try to contact us good or bad by October 15. I called the office and they said my application had yet to be reviewed, maybe they are still reviewing earlier interviewees.
