My interview is for the 19th of March. The first sentence is what confuses me. "I am writing to inform you of your interview schedule for Monday 3/16/10 via email for your perusal." Like I said, my interview is on Friday the 19th. Also, 3/16/10 is a Tuesday. I'm assuming this was just a typo. Hopefully I don't get to Michigan on Friday and nobody is there.
Greetings College of Pharmacy interviewees for March 19, 2010, I am writing to inform you of your interview schedule for Monday 3/16/10 via email for your perusal. Please come to 1028 Office of Academic Services prior to 11:15 am. The College of Pharmacy is on the corner of Church and Geddes just off Washtenaw Avenue, 428 Church St. All UM buildings are identified with large blue and white signs in front. The College is a 4 story red brick building. There is a large 8 story parking structure on S. Forest and S. University to use for parking as parking on the street is limited. The parking structure is 5-10 minute walk to the College. If if you are flying to Michigan use the Detroit Metro Airport located 26 miles from Ann Arbor with daily shuttle service to the city to minimize the need for car rental. There are many hotels in the area to use with the Holiday Inn near UM campus, 2800 Plymouth Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, 734-769-9800 providing complimentary shuttle service to the campus and College of Pharmacy. The Red Roof Inn is located direcdtly across the street from the Holiday Inn on Plymouth Rd. Kindly remember it is wintry weather in Michigan so please dress appropriately. If your plans have changed and you no longer wish to be considered for the Doctor of Pharmacy degree program please let me know at your earliest convenience. Do come prepared with 1-3 written questions to ask faculty during the interviews in a user friendly setting. You will meet with four faculty members individually for 20 minutes each followed by a group session with enrolled Pharm.D students who will present a student panel to enable you to ask questions with lunch provided courtesy of the College of Pharmacy. Seventy two hours after your interview you will be notified via email of the decision on your admissions status. Come prepared to evaluate how the College of Pharmacy will meet your professional needs as the College is assessing the skills and strengths you bring to our student body.
