I interviewed at UMKC on Sept. 13th. I think all of you will really enjoy the interview day at UMKC. A faculty member interviews you one-on-one and, in my experience, it was a flowing conversation instead of a grilling. So try and not be stressed out...This is probably the most easy going interview day you will have. 😀

Can someone give some tips to the UMKC interview. Is it more reviewing things in your application and why you want to be a umkc dentist? or is it more about what you think about the field etc? Thanks ahead of time for your help

Just know your secondary application well. The majority of my interview was based primarily off of my experiences (volunteering, shadowing, research). There are a few questions that they have to ask everyone who interviews that have to do with ethics and dental field questions. Just know why you want to be a dentist and why you want to get your education at UMKC. And most importantly…relax and be yourself.
