Why are you particularly interested in NEOUCOM? From what I know, they give Ohio residents preference, and moreover they accept roughly 21 students into the direcct MD pathway per year. I was fortunate to be accepted when i applied, but didnt go. Getting in can be tough owing to limited seats. It isnt well known etc etc and i'd suggest visiting their website for more info.

I was interested in NEOUCOM because of the BS/MD program

Unless you are a ohio resident....don't think about applying to neoucom..I applied while in high school..but I didn't get in. I am kind of glad that I didn't because it is too rough and accelerated for my liking. They have three schools that you get to choose from to attend...My homeschool...Youngstown State University, Kent State University, and Akron University I believe. You can scope out their website.. www.neoucom.edu

but personally...I'd look into another program if I were you if you MUST do a BS/MD..just by choice.....22+ hrs of classes per semester is not my piece of cake..lol.. 12+ is hard enough for me.

Hope that helps..cya

one of my hs friends is doing the bs/md at usc and seems to be enjoying it... he was valedictorian in hs.

yes, WUSTL has just started an 8 year BA/MD program... look it up under University scholars...
its a rigorous program, you have to maintain at least a 3.8, and get a combined score of 36 or higher on the MCATs to be promoted onto the School of Medicine.
hope this helps

I wasn't aware of this. This is kind of funny. I agree with the previous poster, why bother. If you get a 3.8 and a 36 MCAT, you will probably you will probably get several top 10 acceptances, anyway.

I just got accepted into the 8 year BA/MD program @ WUSTL!!!
