I was just wondering if anyone applied to UMKC. Have you interviewed yet and what did you think? Also, I received a Christmas card from them. Did anyone else get one and exactly what is that suppose to mean?😕

I received a card as well. It was nice, but means nothing in regards to the appilcation process. They put my applcaition on hold b/c I was out of state. Unless you're from MO, or their contractual states, you probably will not get in.

Thanks for the response! Does the school give that much preference to in state applicants? What are their contractual states? How were you notified that you application was on hold? Thanks again!

paulallen is right. they actually give priority to afew states around MI.
i have applied there as well (i'm a CA res). i received a letter from them months ago saying that because i was an out of state res, my chances are "slight" for an interview.

as far as the x-mas card goes, not only that i didn't get any, i actually dropped a card for them a week ago when i was visiting Kansas. i hope they at least got it.
