so, i have an interview at midwestern ccp in like two weeks and being in socal all my life has not prepared me for snow (minus snowboarding and etc.).... so my question is...what do u wear to the interview? isn't it too snowy/icy to wear heels? is it okay to wear a coat that's not business looking? 😕

I actually wear many layers. Then once you're inside the building which is usually well-heated, you take off the layers and put them in your bags or whatever you bring with you. I think the interviewers understand that. 🙂

I live right by ccp, and right now the wind chill is in the negatives. So...don't wear a skirt unless you want to freeze, especially if you want to take the tour. Wear warm boots. there are a ton of styles out there that look professional but are still warm. And they won't care what your coat looks like, so long as you aren't wearing it when you are interviewing and all that! Good luck!!

I carry a big hand bag just because I can fit everything in there. Go with the basic black, the simple one.

Something similar to this... I think it's casual but it fits the purpose because I can't see myself carry a suitcase 😀.

oh...i wasn't even thinking about the purse!! i just brought whatever i usually carry.... damn no skirt...i don't want to buy another suit....T-T is it bad to wear black pants and a gray jacket?
