I want to apply to UMN but I don't have any experience after my graduation.
They are asking compulsory one year experience in Govt hospital or GPR program. How can I apply to this school?

This requirement is in lieu of the one year internship requirement. So, if you have completed one year internship after four years of dental education, you are eligible to apply. Hope this helps.

hello guys... wondering if anyone can let me know whether its possible to get the loan from federal bank, when a student with b1 visa gets selected in UMN. i asked the uni they said students on temporary visas dont get the loan, but as per my information its possible with other schools like nyu, BU, etc, to get the loan sanctioned if u have some1 who can co-signs the loan for u.
i would appreciate if someone helps me out with this hazy condition.

i think i did the priority mail.it reached the next day. they replied after two days. so u can say 3 days after i mailed them.

Minnesota does call ppl with all range of scores..last year during my interview we were 4 of us ..one with 95..one wit 89 ..85 and me with 87...so they consider ppl with less than 90

i was called with a score of 89 and not even this, i was called in the very first batch and also i got accepted in this school and there were others in my group who had scores even less than mine. so don't worry about scores now as they can't been changed now. what matters now is if you get an interview , present yourselves as best as possible. ok good luck.

Dont think that way.Last year people with scores in range of 83-87 were selected.

I know this sounds crazy, but is UMN hard to get in? Ill change my mind if it is : p
Im applying this year for 2012 Aweful GPA 2.91 but my clinical class rank is in 2 nd place top 95 percentile. I know I messed 1 year and got stuck with a below 3 GPA forever. They told me i didnt need NBDE cus im foreign. 3 research all done, 1.5 yr teaching dental students , ummm thats it , oh and GRE hopefully a high score.
What do u think??

Thanks. I want to appear in end of july. Is decks and asda papers enough to get a score above 80.I was interviewed by 2 univ last year and was rejected by both.I dont want to mention the names.

I dnt knw wat their criteria is.It was jst iv.No bench test.I applied very late.May be that was the reason .1 or 2 seats were left.

if you got a IV call...when did u apply doesn't matter...work on your interview skills...

just go through some some most asked interview questions...prepare your rough answers...dont mug them up...practice with a friend or some one...

i think they will let everyone know after 1st week of june..my application was complete in first week of april and they said they will let me know after 8-10 weeks. someone posted on this thread that they told him to wait for 7 weeks..so i think we should know about our status in 1st week of june or so.when did ur application complete? what did they say u?

the wait kills..everyday the day starts with checking the mails and its empty as usual...nothing much. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh .god plz dont check my patience anymore..really my saturation point is about to come.

They dont send invitation by email.They give a phone call.so i jst keep checking the missed calls.

@ simy.oh really i didnt knw this..but i think they must have someother way too.because phone calls might get skipped..they can do paper mail... i think the current students can tell better. r u sure about this that they call by phone only?

first they call by phone .then they email the inv letter and other stuff.thats wat i knw
