Recently getting the admissions from the two schools.
I am kind of released.
Here are some questions that I am not sure which program would suit me more from the work after graduation or staying in academic.
From the ranking, UMN(twin cities) is higher than Columbia and it's also obvious that staying in New York is definitely expensive.
One of my friends suggest UMN is better if I want to stay in academic field.
The other concern is I am not American and if I go back to Asia for work, Columbia seems more helpful...

I am kind of confused about this and want to get some opinions and hope u guys can help!:meanie:

hey!

did you apply to the MPH or MS program?

i applied to their MPH program in biostat and have yet to hear back from them. so upset...

i'm an int'l student too and i guess if you are going back for a job, Columbia does sound better. but it's also true that they might not be as rigor as some other top schools in this field.
but still, congrats on the acceptance!
