So I recently took the MCAT and scored a 29. The problem is that my score is unbalanced. I got an 11 on both verbal and biology, but a lousy 7 on physics. How big of a deal is this? I have heard that if you mess up anywhere on the MCAT its best to mess up in the physics section. What should I do in this situation? Thanks

I think you still have time to retake

I would re-take since you have a lot of potential to get a great score. Out of the 3 sections I think physical sciences is the easiest to improve upon since you can get a lot of easy points by memorizing formulas. Exam Krackers and the EK1001 series really helped me.

I would retake if your test day score is significantly below your practice scores.

My AAMC average was 11 for VR.
The first time I took the test, I scored a 7 on VR (which made my test unbalanced).
I retook and got the 11 on VR I was looking for.

Flukes can happen, but if you are practicing low, you will probably test low. Get the practice test score up before you try again.
