How bad would an unbalanced MCAT of 500 (124/126/122/128) look in my application? Is there a threshold score for each section that I needed to attain? My gpa is 3.94 (for both science and non science). I majored in biology...ironically

A 122 in biology/biochem will almost certainly raise some eyebrows (if I'm not mistaken, that's a 25th percentile section score). However, I think you will be OK if you apply broadly, considering you have a high GPA.

A 122 in biology as a biology major will definitely raise some eyebrows. Apply broadly; target newer schools. You should be okay.

no objective threshold per se. "underdog" is a label conventionally reserved for any sectional score of 124 or lower*

good luck!!

Thanks! I plan on retaking in July. I really think that 122 was a fluke because I guessed towards the end because I was running out of time. Would that MCAT date be too late for DO?

Anything before September is considered early for DO from what I've seen.

Edit: Application complete by September. So July MCAT would be okay.
