So I interviewed in Chapel Hill this weekend at UNC-CH and had a quick question. This is my second time applying and am just a little curious about how the selection committee goes about choosing candidates. Do the three interviewers who we spoke with actually do the definitive choosing amongst themselves as to who is offered admission or do they select people and then take names to the committee as suggestions? Or maybe it's something totally different? It's possible that no one on here actually knows but my mind was running a little bit crazy after the interview day and I'm just a little curious as to where my fate now belongs! Thanks for the help!

Basically, I'm wondering if it is in fact the three people who interview us that actually do the selecting about who will be offered admission, can the committee as a whole veto or object to a selection whenever it is that they meet?
