I know this is an amazing school, but i am not really very familiar with the area.....is it insanely difficult to get in at UNC with a 3.85, tons of research, and huge amount of volunteering and EC, and a 19 on the DAT?? Does anybody know about MUSC in Charleston, SC either??
 
where you from, doc? I am applying to the same schools. I talked with MUSC (I have very similar stats to yours) and they told me that I was a competetive applicant...BUT I am out of state (live in NC) and MUSC only accepts a few out of state.

UNC is my top pick.....it's a mixed bag when it comes to 'difficulty getting in'...at least from everyone i've talked to.
