I live in Chapel Hill right now, and I can say that there are a lot of apartments around the school. I would suggest getting something just beyond campus (like around 2 miles away) because they are cheaper and still have easy access to campus via the bus system. Chapel Hill has a great free bus system which serves all around the Chapel Hill area. I'd suggest checking out chapelhillrent.com and see what is in there. I live in Highland Hills apts. about 1.8 miles away and like it. If your looking for a roomie, you can call the school and see if they can match you up with someone who is looking for the same thing.
