UNC or Maryland

I've been trying to decide between the two schools and can't quite make up my mind. Assuming cost is fairly similar, which would you suggest? My family is about 45 minutes from Baltimore, while UNC is about 4.5 hours. I get the impression that UNC has a slightly better reputation, but both are good schools. MD will be opening a new facility in about a year, which should be real nice. I do want to specialize in pediatric dentistry, though I assume both schools are fairly successful. I'd appreciate any and all opinions!
