If you didn't hear Dec 1st then your application will still be reconsidered for the next acceptance date Feb 1st. They will send out rejections after this date I believe.
i think they have sent out some rejection letters. i saw a few profiles on predents.com for this cycle where a couple of out-of-state applicants had been rejected by UNC. i haven't heard/seen of any in-staters getting rejected yet.
