Hello Fellow SDNers,
I am having trouble deciding which school to attend this fall. I think both are great and have unique qualities. So this is my situation.. I am a Georgia resident, i.e. tuition at UNC will be a killer the first year only even with a grant. My family and friends are all in Georgia so thats 1.5 hours versus 6.5 hours for visits, plus the number of visits will be limited. On this respect I am thinking I will not have that much free time anyhow. I am not familiar with Chapel Hill at all, but very familiar with Augusta. I am trying to compare their curriculum but I do not know which has PBL, note-taking service, some sort of prep for the USMLE? Also, what is the diversity like at either school? Is housing terrible expensive in the Chapel Hill area or moderate? So if anyone is able to provide insight on any of the aforementioned questions please do and any additional information one would like to provide.
Thank you all,
