I don't know much about Temple. I did an elective at UNC.
Lots of interesting pathology...seems to see a good bit of retina. The have a nationally known oculoplastics guy who is pretty good to work with. I don't think the residents gets very high numbers...<100 cataracts. You will do a 4 month rotation in Minnesota to get those numbers. The faculty are all pretty nice and the residents seem to enjoy the program. They do lots of presentations, at chairmans rounds and case conference. I think it's a good program though. Location is pretty nice, though above average cost of living in Chapel Hill.
