I have seen that some people have interview invites to UNC. Those who do, has your check been cashed? I was in the first batch and mine still has yet to be cashed.

Nope. Unc is the only school that hasn't cashed my check. I was also in the first batch

Apparently they've been giving out interviews without cashing in check, so that's irrelevant as of now I think. Are you OSS or instate?

do they at least update things on the AADSAS portal for you?

I wish they'd at least send an email saying we got the forms you sent but based on those with interviews, the only email they got was the invite email.

You can call them you know...they're very curteous on the phone. I was in Batch 2 and they didn't cash my check yet. OOS here, no interview yet, though hopefully I'll get one since my stats are quite a lot above their averages...oh and I put in SOOO much effort into their secondary!

I'm not sure what batch I'm in (lol =.=), but I got an interview for UNC a few days ago and I'm in-state. I sent out my AADSAS app in mid-June, but I didn't take my DAT until mid-August..so my application was fully complete until the scores came in (which was 8/3). When I sent in my secondary, I paid the fee in cash because the email said that a check would take a lot longer to process..I would think your check would have processed by now, but I would call the office for sure, like what the previous post suggested! Yeah they're notorious for being UBER slow about cashing checks. I think it took like 1.5 months for mine to clear last year. Apparently they checks make their way around a department or two up on the main UNC campus before they're finally deposited, so that's why it's as slow as Christmas.
