Sup, I've been doing undergrad chem research for the past 2 semesters. I'm pre-med, and I'm wondering if I try to get it published or what? I found these 2 links on the school website:

http://www.hcs.harvard.edu/~jus/submissions.html

http://www.jyi.org/about/

I read on the sticky that I shouldn't expect to publish my undergrad research, so I'm kind of confused as to what I should do when my research is complete. Do adcoms look for undergrad research that is published? Or will that not matter? HELP!!!

hey, i would def try to publish! use those links, or maybe your own school has an undergrad journal. good luck!

Talk with the PI of you lab, or the faculty member whom you are working with for some input, if you have the opportunity to publish, go for it, you will learn a lot in the process and will show initiative. Your advisor will know if your project is at the point where publication is an option.
