Integrated Physiology major.
Till now All of my grades have been either A or A- with the exception of a organic lab at B-
Most of my As have been with the lower level courses of Phy/chem/bio/.
On the Higher level courses like organic/biochem/stats/endocrinology I have A-'s. Overall sgpa 3.87

I have 512 on MCAT with 3 years of research experiance, Honors thesis, poetry editor, EC activities like board member of a extra cultural organization.

Having A-'s is it going to be an issue.

Thanks

Please enlighten us as to who told you that you need a 4.0 to get into medical school.

Trying to understand what upward trend mean. what is the reference point. Like in my situation it was 4.0 in the first sem. It started dipping little bit later. Looking at it is kind of downward trend.

I get your point Agreed it sounds ridiculous, But again For a person who is wants to be a MD every thing which is so small looks like a mountain in negative terms.

Thank you all for your replies.

Lose the gunner mentality and go look at the MSAR. National Percentiles of Accepted Students:
10th- 3.37
25th- 3.58
Median- 3.76
75th- 3.90
90th- 3.98

Edit: Or look at my signature for anecdotal evidence.
