Une biochem accreditation question

Hey guys,
I contacted a school about accepting the distance learning biochem course offered by une. They didn't really give me a direct answer but said that all courses must be accredited by the us department of education. I saw on the website that the course is accredited by the new England association Of schools and colleges but I don't know if this means that it's accredited by the us department of education. Does anyone know? Thanks!

UNE falls under one of six "regional accredited" classifications. Regional accreditation is what you want, and is the only thing that will be accepted by any medical school. Now some schools do not accept online pre-reqs (accredited or not), but most DO schools do accept online.
