Does any one know anything about University of New England Maine. Its a new school that opened this year and their mission statement says to have dentists serve in Maine. Does anyone know any good things about this school because I am considering applying because my family lives in that region? I just don't know whether it will be set up since its a new school.

I interviewed there and loved it! The area is beautiful and the dean has been a dean at previous schools and worked as a board member for the accredition committee. It's an expensive school to go to, the cost of living is a little higher then other parts of the US. The current students seemed to love it. Apply! The worst they say is no. If you get an interview/ acceptance then decide if its worth going to.

Last year was the inaugural class, so you're applying to be the second class who graduates. I don't know much about the school, but Maine is beautiful and I could see myself relocating up there in the future. It's a little late in the hand to be thinking about applying, but you never know!
