Nope. Dying. They made it sound like they say you hear back within two weeks guaranteed, but they would almost certainly get back to us within one week. Nothing yet though.

I e-mailed Sara Bedell, and she said they are still processing interviewers from that date. I don't know if that is good or bad news lol.

Oh wow. When did you contact her? Curious as to what 'processing' means.

I e-mailed her about 2 hours ago. I have no idea what that means. I thought they said on the interview date if you haven't heard from us within the first week or so, then your wait list letter will be sent in regular mail. But I could be wrong.

Hmm I don't remember hearing that but I could be wrong. I thought they said there would be emails sent to everyone, either with an "accepted" "rejected" or "wait listed." I definitely remember them saying that acceptance packets would be sent via regular mail in addition to email.

I don't recall anything about a wait list letter being sent in the mail if we don't hear anything. I do remember what Biff said about receiving an email regardless on whether or your you are accepted, rejected, or wait listed. I will probably email them if I don't hear anything back by Friday.

The anticipation is killing me!!! Lol... Thank goodness for these midterms to keep my mind busy

If I had to guess, there will be a TON of wait lists for us in the first interview section. Not only so they can see how we stack up against other sections, but also because if it has taken them this long and they reach their self-imposed "deadline" of this Friday, they might just give out a bunch of wait lists for the people they couldn't get too. Just a thought.

You may be right. We will all hopefully find out this Friday!

I'm hoping that they just want to send out the decisions all at once

This DPT student's blog is helping me stay optimistic...

Relax, and Pay Attention
DPT programs don’t grant interviews to most applicants, so by the time you’re offered one, the hard part is already over. Typically, unless you demonstrate poor social skills or that you won’t be a good fit for the school, it’s likely that they’re going to accept you. Schools know that the majority of their interviewees will be admitted, so in addition to figuring you out, they’re also trying to sell themselves.

I believe they try to accept the same number of applicants from each interview session so if they have 4 interview dates they will accept a total of 15 applicants from each session. That's why they say the earlier you apply the better because there are 60 spots open for the first interview, only 45 for the second interview, etc. so the wait list gets longer and longer. I'm not sure how the wait list works prior to the last interview session, but you could be on the wait list for a day or a few months depending on when the accepted applicants respond with deposits. Do not be discouraged if you are put on the wait list. I'm guessing that at least half my class was accepted off of the wait list. Also, they do not give out wait list rankings because someone on the wait list from the second interview may be a stronger candidate from the first interview so the list is constantly changing.

Good luck and hang in there! Just a few more days of waiting.

Could be a blessing in disguise for us if we happened to get on the waitlist. It would postpone the deposit fee of a 1000 bucks, giving us more time to decide on other schools if we happened to get in prior to getting off the waitlist.

Well, I just got the email. I have been wait-listed.

Received my acceptance email this morning.

Very fortunate to be accepted into my two top private choices in the past 24 hours. I need to dig a little bit more into comparing Utica and UNE head to head, but I definitely think UNE has the edge in a lot of categories. Unless I am accepted into a state program (Upstate Med or Stony Brook, interviews next month), I will be attending UNE or Uitca.

Chin up! Word is that they usually have a ton of movement on their wait-list. Just like @atcdpt said, it might be a blessing in disguise. You won't have to throw down a $1000(!!!!!!) deposit to save a seat yet. With your stats, I would be shocked if you don't get in.

Wait listed as well. The last two weeks have been brutal enough waiting anxiously for a response. Definitely will not let that happen for the next however many months of waiting again. To anyone else placed on the wait list, positive vibes=positive results. Chinuppp

Accepted and depositing for sure!

To anyone who made the wait list today, I say have faith- I suspect with the relatively high cost of tuition at UNE that many students will be withdrawing their seats as they get cheaper state offers later in the cycle. Also remember its still so early in the process… Good luck everyone.

Hey everyone!

I was wondering if you guys could share what your interview experience was like for UNE. I have mine on 12/5. Flying out from San Francisco on the 3rd. It'll be a mini vacation.
