uneven academic record - need a fulltime postbac?

My suggestion isn't even one of your choices: Do a full-time post-bac at UT-Dallas! I read the description of the program they have and it sounds like a good, cheap deal for in-staters. It's a solid 4-year university... that's all you need for a post-bac. You can even work a little bit. Of course, if your GPA's really bad, you may need to take another year beyond the basic sciences.
As for worrying about loans, there are people on this forum who have taken on the double-whammy of post-bac and med school loans. And UT-Dallas will be waaaay cheaper, considering living expenses, than many other programs.

Oh yeah, a full-time post-bacc is definately preferred, though people have done it part-time.
